Snow and Ice on Alum Cave Trail,1-15-10

The unseasonably warm temps and sunny skies were not enough to thaw out Mt. LeConte. There is still ice and snow all the way up the mountain.

The Grassy Slide, Alum Cave Trail, Mt LeConte,1-15-10

The views were awesome today! What a perfect day to hike. The sky was more blue and clear than I have ever seen.

Words can't describe the hike I had today. I had the trail to myself and the views were overwhelming.
