Life On LeConte

With high winds, cold temps and snow, it's good weather to stay inside and listen to the Lady Vols on the radio.  After the Lady Vols beat South Carolina I get to listen to the BCS Championship game.  Roll Ti.......I just can't say it.  Since I'm spending some time in my cabin I thought I would share some of the character in my little home on the mountain.

My Bathroom In the Tack House
This corner of my cabin is my bathroom.  I have an LED light that takes AA bateries.  It makes it bright enough for me to get my contacts in!

Mom's Canned Goods
Thanks to Mom, I have pleanty of good home grown and home canned food.  You can see tomatoes, pickels and peppers!  There's nothing like that good old food from home.

A Few Of My Books In The Tack House
I love to read and I'm very fortunate to have a stack of books to read this winter.  I just finished "The Crossing" by Cormac McCarthy.  I'm about to start "The Orchard Keeper" by McCarthy and "Easy Go" by David Witherspoon.
I hope you enjoyed your visit to the Tack House on this cold and snowy night!
