A Frozen View From Cliff Tops, Mt. LeConte, 2-12-10
    It's 15 degrees today with a high of 25 and low of 8.  There is still 26 inches of snow on the ground.  I should see plenty sun today and maybe a little snow falling later this afternoon.  Millie and I put our snow shoes on and enjoyed a hike around the top of the mountain yesterday.  We enjoyed some fantastic sights.

    It's a neat experience to walk over the top of 27 inches of snow.  It's always a wonderful feeling when the clouds clear and the sun comes out over the snow covered mountains.  After a few days of clouds and high wind, it's a lift to the spirits to get outside and enjoy the sights.
